Fáilte Ireland has partnered with Chef Network to bring you a new series of smart business tools designed to help you become more efficient without compromising on what matters most – the quality and integrity of your food.

 

Over the coming months, we will share a four-step action plan, demonstrating how you can achieve real savings in the kitchen through smart purchasing, effective control of food costs, clever management of labour, and efficient waste reduction.

 

Featuring easy-to-use, downloadable business tools to help you get started and measure your success along the way, the series will reveal how you can streamline your operation and, in turn, free up more resources to invest in your business – whether that’s for sourcing the best local and seasonal ingredients, providing additional training and professional development, hiring an extra member of the team, or purchasing the latest must-have equipment.

 

Created By Chefs for Chefs

The series has been produced with input from chefs across Ireland. These include Niall Hill of Niall Hill Foods who has created the action plans and business tools, and chefs Tom Flavin, The Limerick Strand Hotel; Domini Kemp, ITSA; Carmel McGirr, MacNean Restaurant; and Niall McKenna of James St and Co. who have shared their practical tips for becoming more efficient in the areas of purchasing, food, labour and waste.
