Hi all,

We are currently looking for chefs in SOLE Seafood and Grill on Dublin's South William Street, Sole is a restaurant that specialises in preparing and serving Ireland's best seafood, working with suppliers such as Kelly's Oysters, we have won the best seafood restaurant in Europe for  the last three years running. 

We are currently looking for one or two full time commis chefs and one full time chef de partie, they must have at least one year experience in a professional kitchen, flexible working hours, starting rate from €12 per hour with benefits including shared tips and service charge.

Salary: € 41000-45000 depending on experience
Job Title: Sous Chef

We have an exciting opportunity to join the team at Killarney Brewing Distillery and Visitor Experience Fossa, Killarney, as we prepare to open our exciting new venture. This is a year-round position in a pristine new building and is an excellent opportunity to work with this well-established and growing company.


Job Description:
  • As a Sous Chef you will assist the Head Chef in all aspects of running a new kitchen with a large restaurant. 
  • You will be able to show leadership as a team leader and enjoy assisting with the learning and development of the kitchen team.
  • You will demonstrate exceptionally high standards in quality preparation and presentation and be mindful of wastage and stock rotation.
  • You will be personally responsible for running your section and overseeing all areas and keeping stock up to date.
  • You will work with cleanliness and ensure that hygiene protocols are always adhered to.
  • You will be innovative, dynamic, and happy to implement new ideas
  • You will be proud of your work and will consistently cook to your highest ability whilst maintaining standards of practices as per management.

The Candidate:
  • Ability to work under pressure as part of a team or be equally at ease on your own initiative
  • Should have minimum 3/4 years' experience in similar role
  • Well presented
  • Fluent English
  • Computer literate
  • Flexibility in hours and daily routine
  • Function and Banqueting Experience would be Beneficial
