Connecting Chefs with Local Suppliers

Hello Chefs, 

As part of Chef Network's ongoing effort to promote sustainability and localism, Chef Network are undertaking a pilot programme in which we are trialling an online platform to connect you, the Chefs, with local suppliers.

Our aim is to make the ordering process more streamlined, allowing you to order, from one platform, from your usual suppliers AND to create relationships with new local ones.  We have teamed up with UnifyOrdering, which makes the ordering process very straight forward for you and your team, allowing collaboration, and a one stop shop for all your orders and paperwork. Using their 'proximity' function allows you to see, connect with and order from suppliers in your local area.

Chef Network has teamed up with Local Enterprise Offices around the country, who in turn have nominated some existing and new local suppliers to take part in the pilot from Clare, Leitrim, Kildare, Wicklow and Fingal. Now we are calling on Executive Chefs, Head Chef, Sous Chefs, Chef Proprietor and Kitchen Managers to join us too.

• The Chef Network Team will share your information with the Unify Ordering Team
• UnifyOrdering will be in touch to do a short demo
• UnifyOrdering will help set up your profile to ensure a quick and effortless switch
• The 3-month pilot programme begins on January 17th and runs for 3 months
• Chef Network will ask for feedback
