With over 27 years experience as a professional chef, Matthew is an energetic, positive thinker with leadership skills that undertakes progression & financial stability going forward into a business, along with good working relationships with other colleagues.
As a graduate of BA in Culinary Arts, Matthew excels at adapting to new challenges & ideas, focussing on issues that need solutions, along with a vast knowledge of food, with presenting himself with a confidant & professional approach, where he always strives for excellence.
Matthew is responsible for the innovation of Scratch My Pork (Irish Pork Scratching). By using new product development methods & the Gastronomy of Irish & English food he created the first meat savoury snack to be produced for the Irish market. With a national distributor on board looking after The No Nonsense Food Company’s Products it will be a success story that no one saw coming which is available in all symbol groups throughout Ireland.
Matthew was also an ILDN finalist representing the West Cork Development Program.
Matthew is also a food writer for the Southern Star Newspaper in West Cork, along with holding yearly cooking classes with charity work through cooking demonstrations around his local area.
